Temperament: Peaceful; yellow parrots should not be housed with aggressive fish since they are unprepared to compete for food or territory in the aquarium. 

Diet & Nutrition: They are omnivorous and will eat most prepared and frozen foods, including freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, and ocean plankton, as well as flake food and Cichlid pellets.

Gender: Males are typically larger.
